Jill, just wanted to let you know that The Ninja's really loved playing in the tournament. This year they were all from the same club team. Next year they will all be freshmen at different high schools in the QC. If you folks decide to allow high schooler teams from outside Geneseo next year, please let me know. The kids are hoping to have an opportunity to play together again next year.
Thanks to everyone for putting together a great tournament.
I had a great time, as did my son and his teammates. They enjoyed futsal and want to come back next year. The only way Garrett won't come back next year is if he has a basketball tournament conflict. It was a well-run event, which from what I understand from my friends in the QC soccer community is par for the course.
“I just wanted to tell you how excited all the fourth graders have been about the soccer tournament this past weekend. They are especially proud of the sportsmanship award! I have heard so many stories. Thanks to you, your family, and all the volunteers - the tournament affects so many people in a positive way!”
I would like to thank and congratulate the entire crew in Geneseo for a wonderful tournament. The hospitality our teams received from all the volunteers was amazing. People were going out of their way to welcome us to the tournament and thank us for being there. I thought the tournament was very well organized from start to finish. All the parents associated with the Dixon teams that participated have commented to us coaches several times on the amount of fun they had and the fun the players had. I also enjoyed visiting with the different Geneseo coaches during the U8 boys games.
I'm really liking the championship balls that my U8 boys team received, as their coach, is there any way I can get one? I am more than willing to pay for it.
A mother of one of the East Moline U9 players commented:
“My daughter had a blast at the tournament and wanted to come back and play the next weekend. I told her that she would have to wait until next year! Thanks for an awesome tournament.”
